What inspired you to do a boudoir photoshoot and why did you choose Bad Girl Boudoir?
My husband is always great at finding great meaningful gifts from the heart for me and with him on deployment I wanted to do something amazing and special for our anniversary. He always asks for just normal pictures of me so I decided to go one step further and get these done because I knew he would be shocked and love them.

What were your feelings leading up to your session?
Leading up the the photo shoot I was very nervous I don't like pictures in general. I didn't know what kind of outfits to pack or anything but I knew this was what I wanted to do for my husband. I debated for weeks about doing the pictures but in the end I said I'm doing them and that's it.

"Think of what side of your personality you want to show off in your photos
--sweet, or rebel or whatever"

Tell us about your experience with Bad Girl Boudoir...
The experience was amazing, and a few minutes after getting there I felt more at ease. Hair and makeup was great. I think Lindsay and Amanda did great finding the right side of me to pull out and display for the pictures. I see it as my rebel side and it was great. I loved the colors used and how my hair fit with it. It felt like I was talking to friends. I did the double trouble and I'm glad that I did, it was a great experience to share with a friend especially if your nervous (like me) it was good to have a more confident friend.

What was your husband's reaction when he saw your book?
I had to mail off the pictures to my husband but for weeks I teased him because he didn't know what the present was, but I would tell him things like its very personalized and without me it wouldn't have been done, things like that. He could not figure out what it was. Well a couple weeks later he got the box and he said his jaw dropped. He was so surprised and he loved them. Said it was the best present ever and he was touched because that was very out of character for me. He loved seeing me done up and said I looked more beautiful than a model.

What's your advice for future clients looking to have a boudoir photoshoot?
If you are thinking of doing this as a gift think of what side of your personality do you want to show sweet, or rebel or whatever. Also remember while it's fun to be pampered getting your hair and make up done think what that special someone would like too. If they have a favorite shirt or something try to use it because it shows you were thinking about them. It's okay to be a little nervous, but have fun!--The pictures will come out amazing. Lindsay is great at capturing you and blowing you away because you could never imagine yourself looking like that ever. Amanda did my makeup and I loved it. If I knew how to do make up like that (but not as over the top) I would probably wear it every day. I suggest everyone have this experience at least once.

Thank you Mrs. K for the awesome review!
